The Secondary Certificate course is for candidates who have completed 14 years of age as of 1st August of the year in which admission is sought. Admission is granted based on a declaration confirming that the candidate has studied sufficiently to pursue the Secondary Certificate course.
The Senior Secondary Certificate course is for candidates who have completed 16 years of age as of 1st August of the year in which admission is sought. Admission requires qualifying an entrance test prescribed for pursuing Senior Secondary and Higher Secondary courses.
